Bassinet Ministry – Women's Resource Center

Call to schedule your church or organization to sponsor the Women’s Resource Center’s bassinet at your location for a month. Invite your church or organization members to place donated items in the bassinet during the month. Return the bassinet to the center with the items donated to help stock our Mommy Store. Items in the Mommy Store are given to our mothers who attend prenatal/parenting classes.

My name is Breanna Jurgenson and I am 19 years old. I have been volunteering at the Women’s Resource Center for almost a year. IO love the community and atmosphere that the staff and other volunteers create at the center. It is evident that these sweet ladies have hearts that are eager to share the gospel, lovingly, patiently, and with great understanding and compassion. Whether it is sorting donations or counseling an indecisive mother, everyone here is truly striving to make Christ known in the lives of struggling women, I have seen much growth at the Women’s Resource Center in the short time I have been here, and I am excited to see what the Lord has in store as we carry on this great ministry.

Volunteering has taught me that every person deserves love and acceptance. People already know they are sinners but they need to be told Jesus loves them and they are precious to Him and they can be forgiven. The ladies who come in the center are worth dying for…. HE did. He makes the difference in their lives!
