About – Women's Resource Center

Women’s Resource Center is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization serving women and families in the Cleveland area. The Women’s Resource Center ministry is to offer life-affirming values by providing abstinence education in our local schools and churches, assistance during an unplanned pregnancy, and post-abortion recovery.

We provide free pregnancy tests and assistance to any woman who comes through our doors, whether by appointment or just walking in. Our classes offer material benefits for participating men and women. Class topics include abortion information, sexually transmitted diseases, pregnancy, parenting, life skills, and much more.

Our mission is to bring compassionate help and hope to women and teens unprepared for pregnancy. We present sexual abstinence as a positive lifestyle for singles and provide an opportunity for healing and restoration to those hurt by abortion. Of course, we always aim to present Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord.

As an affiliate of Care Net, Women’s Resource Center is a part of a national network of pregnancy centers that share the joint mission of ministering to women and men in need.

My name is Breanna Jurgenson and I am 19 years old. I have been volunteering at the Women’s Resource Center for almost a year. I love the community and atmosphere that the staff and other volunteers create at the center. It is evident that these sweet ladies have hearts that are eager to share the gospel, lovingly, patiently, and with great understanding and compassion. Whether it is sorting donations or counseling an indecisive mother, everyone here is truly striving to make Christ known in the lives of struggling women, I have seen much growth at the Women’s Resource Center in the short time I have been here, and I am excited to see what the Lord has in store as we carry on this great ministry.

Volunteering has taught me that every person deserves love and acceptance. People already know they are sinners but they need to be told Jesus loves them and they are precious to Him and they can be forgiven. The ladies who come in the center are worth dying for…. HE did. He makes the difference in their lives!
